You may search for previously recorded trade names or for specific business owners. Choose your option in the Search For box. Enter your search term(s) in the Search Terms box and click the Search button to the right. After reviewing your search results, you may continue searching by clicking the Search button or proceed to submit your trade name application by clicking the New Application button.

Search Tips: To return as wide a range of relevant trade names as possible, enter one or two key words in the Search Terms box. For example, to find Arlington House of Flowers and Gifts, enter 'flower gift.' This search will return any trade name in which the word flower AND the word gift appears, regardless whether these words appear in singular or plural form. While you may always perform an exact search for the specific trade name you are seeking, note that a search of Arlington House of Flowers and Gifts would NOT return a search result of Arlington House of Flowers & Gifts (note ampersand instead of word and). Hyphens, abbreviations, punctuation and any other minor difference between what you enter and the exact trade name already registered will exclude similar trade names from your search results.
